Where your conversation actually lives

You can ask without making an account. When you do, the conversation is held by a cookie on the device you asked from and by nothing else. There is no email, no name, and no user record behind it. Reading this site creates none of that: the session starts on your first message, not when a page loads, so someone who reads and leaves leaves nothing.

If you go on to make an account, that conversation attaches to it and the anonymous session is destroyed. Either way what you wrote is encrypted, and an anonymous conversation gets the same protection at rest as an account one. It is not attached to an advertising identifier, a data broker profile, or any record outside Dahlia.

We never sell or rent your data

There is no advertising business here, so there is no commercial reason for your information to leave. This is not a promise we have to resist an incentive to break. We built the business so the incentive does not exist. See what Dahlia costs.

We do not hand your information to the government

We do not give your information to USCIS, ICE, or any other government agency. The only thing that could change that is a court order we are legally required to obey. If that ever happens we will tell you, unless the court forbids us from telling you. That is something a court can do.

You can delete everything, permanently

You can delete a conversation at any time and it goes immediately. If you never make an account, it deletes itself 7 days after your last message, with no reminder, because there is no address to send one to. After that nothing is retained and nothing is recoverable, which is the intended outcome rather than a failure.

Deleting your account deletes what is in it. Not hidden, not deactivated, not retained in a form we could still be asked for.

Nothing on this website

meetdahlia.com has no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps, no chat widget, and no cookies. There is nothing to consent to, which is why there is no banner asking you to.
